The hard drive in the server has failed and must be replaced.  Nearly all data for all websites has been backed up and
will be fully restored.<br>

The server OS had to be reinstalled, so every website will have to be rebuilt from backups.  Rather that restoring everything to the old server, a new server which is stronger, faster, better, and even cheaper has been purchased.  It's already up and the websites will be restored there.  The domain names will be updated to point to the new server, so no links need to change.<br>

I expect to have the Viking Canoe Club site up first, followed by net-chess.com tonight.  The Louisville Astronomical Society site won't be back up until Sunday at the earliest.<br>
